Seven species are endangered

Eggs are eaten by crabs,birds and predators

Artificial lighting confuses the hatchlings

Under the sea they choke on plastic bags

Rubbish kills sea turtles

Turtle excluder devices helps sea turtles to escape

Leatherback sea turtle are killed for their hard skin to make boots

Everyone should stop poachers

On Wednesday the 25th of October 2017 room 9 and room 10 went on a bus to Kelly Tarltons to learn about marine animals.

We saw lots of marine species inside of the tank and i was so thrilled and excited to see this.

First i actually saw a sea turtles that i haven’t found inside of the tank and it was so exciting that  i had to touch the window because i couldn't handle it so i did.

But before that we were learning about Robert Scott and Robert Scott had no electricity in their Antarctica but all they had was just lamps that that time and they had different objects in the future.Robert Scott was a famous explorer in artitca and when Robert Scott tried to return home none of the survivors survived.

After that we were looking at different objects that they had. There were  bunk beds but they had different objects on the bed too.

Then we carried on to the next thing and Mrs Elia and i was looking at the bones of the penguin and we saw that the penguin’s neck was very long.

Robert Scott was a famous explorer in artitca and when Robert Scott tried to return home none of the survivors survived.

How to Make Keke

Title:How to make keke

Purpose:Giving instructions on how to make Keke

Ingredients: 1.Flour(10 cups) 2.Sugar (2 scoops of sugar) 3.oil (1 cup) 4.Hot water Equipment: 1.pan 2.bowl 3.spoon

Steps: 1.Firstly pour 10 cups of flour into the bowl. 2.Pour hot water in the bowl and mix it around until it is sticky. 3. Then get a spoonful of flour from the bowl and shape it in a sphere.    4.Put the keke in the pan with hot water again. 5.Then tip the hot water out. 6. Next  put 2 scoops of sugar on the keke . 7. Roll it until the sugar mixes with the keke. 8. Fry the keke in medium oil.    9.Then wait for it to cool down.

Conclusion: Now you can enjoy your keke  with a nice cup of tea.

 How to make a jam sandwich           

                

Goal:Giving instructions on how to make something

What you need:

Butter

Butter knife

plate

jam

2 slices of bread

Steps:

1.First put the 2 slices of bread on the plate.

2.Secondly use butter knife and butter the 2 slices of bread.

3.After spread the jam on one slice.

4.Then put the buttered slice on top of the jam slice.
5.Finally cut the bread into 4 quarters.

And there you have it!
Have it with caramel.

On Sunday,Anthony went over Nick’s house to play basketball.They played a game of one-on-one.

Anthony made six baskets,but Nick made eight.

Nick was the winner after the game,both boys

my pet

My pet’s name is Kuapa. My rabbit has red eyes and it has white and black fur and she has paws and they are sharp. She’s cute too.My rabbit looks like a cat.

My rabbit likes to play with me sometimes and my rabbit can jump a lot.She is sometimes crazy and she’s helpful to others and she’s careful.My rabbit likes to be happy when her ears are up and when she’s sad her ears comes down. My rabbit is smart because we locked all of the doors and she decided to jump and climb over the fence and she likes to do anything when visitors are here. When the visitors leave  she goes back to her cage. If people push my rabbit around she will get angry.

I love my pet so much.

Talking Animals

one day there were talking  animals around the jungle but then thay ran off.I shouted very loud and i said, “what should i do?”

“should i put you in the car or just get you in the pot?”

“what”s your choice?’ but know one answered my question.Then after that this little monkey just came out of nowhere  and the dad said,” no don't do this”.

then the monkey said to the dad, “i will be fine and let’s finish this”.

but then the dad was laughing and he said, “you can’t even finish this huhuhu”i mean no!!! You have never did this ok”

 I will show this man the toughness. then the monkey was so weak..THEN it was my turn  ching song qwa!!’ then i was PUNCHING then the monkey said”anuff then i went closer to him but then we were friends.

The tsavo national park

The Tsavo National Park in Kenya is home of many wild animals,such as rhinos,elephants,lions and antelopes. In the park,there is an whose mother have been killed orphanage for baby  elephants.

Duffy Role Model Assembly

Today room 9 went to the Duffy theatre and we had fun because they got to sing very loud.  Their names were Philipe,Madison and Katherine. They were talking about how they were little and how they learnt to read and  then at the end they got to hand over the books to each class.Then we got to ask them questions..
